Krishnan and Nair to be empanelled!

Grapevine has it that two 1966 batch IAS Officers Dharamrajan Krishnan and Sathi Nair are being empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India.Empanelment of TamilNadu cadre officer Dharamrajan Krishnan and Sathi Nair of Andhra Pradesh cadre is expected to take place during the next review meeting.

Baijal turns down proposal

CEO of the Prasar Bharti Anil Baijal has turned down a proposal to post Deputy Director General News Deepak Sandhu to London .A proposal had been mooted to post Sandhu as Special Correspondent in London.Now one thing is clear that there is no love lost between Anil Baijal and Deepak Sandhu.1

Two IAS Officers were shortlisted for NASSCOM post

If reports are to be believed two Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS Officers 1975 batch Rentela Chandra Shekhar and 1994 batch Srivatsa Krishna had been shortlisted for the post of President NASSCOM.The post finally went to Kiran Karnik.

Mohapatra to be JS Food and Civil Supplies

Ashok Kumar Mohapatra is joining the Government of India as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies. He is 1971 batch IAS Officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre.

D P Sinha promoted as ADG

D P Sinha has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General of Police in Uttar Pradesh. He has been made ADG (Railway). Sinha was IG Lucknow prior to his promotion.

Vijay Vardhan is new Secretary to Haryana Governor

Vijay Vardhan ,1985 batch IAS officer has been appointed new Secretary to the Haryana Governor.He will replace S P Sharma who has been posted as Secretary Excise. Secretary Urban Development Bhaskar Chaterjee has been given additional charge of Commissioner and Secretary Tourism.

IAS changes in Himachal Pradesh

Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Ajay Mittal who was looking after Excise and Taxation will now be incharge of Arts and Culture Department.Financial Commissioner Irrigation Kanwar Shamsher Singh has been given additional charge of Excise and Taxation.B S Chauhan Secretary Personnel will also hold additional charge of Ayurved. Deepak Sanan Secretary Finance has been given additional charge of Technical Education. Similarly V K Bansal has been given additional charge of Transport.
