After the appointment of Uttar Pradesh cadre 1969 batch IPS Officer Vijay Shankar, Uma Kant Mishra is all set to join the CBI as Additional Director.Mishra is 1968 batch IPS Officer of Orissa cadre.

Sunder Rajan is still waiting

Did the Government of India assure post retirement job to Sunder Rajan?.Reports doing the round said that 1966 batch IPS Officer Sunder Rajan who superannuated in June last had been asked to stay in Delhi for two months. Sunder Rajan had been shifted from the RAW last year as OSD in the Cabinet Secretariat.Nothing has been heard about him so far.

Centre to assert in Rajgopalan case?

Union Home Ministry has rejected the plea of the TamilNadu Government that services of R Rajgopalan could not be spared. 1965 batch IAS Officer Rajgopalan has been appointed DG of the NSG but the TamilNadu Government has refused to relieve him. Now the Government of India has again asked the TN Government to relieve Rajgopalan immediately. BSF DG Gurubachan Jagat is currently officiating the post.
