Charusheela Sohoni has been granted three months extension in her tenure. She is Joint Secretary Revenue in the Ministry of Finance. Tenure of 1971 batch Maharastra cadre IAS Officer Charusheela had ended on August 15.

Dr B P Neel Ratna is no longer PS to Union Labour Minister Satya Narain Jatiya.1983 batch IAS Officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre Dr Neel Ratna had taken over as PS even before the approval of the Department of Personnel.The Government, however, did not approve the appointment .
