Dr S Y Qureshi is taking over as Director General of Doordarshan this month end. 1971 batch IAS Officer Qureshi is currently Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister O P Chautala. He is considered to be close to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Sushma Swaraj.
