Five 1986 batch IPS Officers to get promotion in Gujrat

The DPC to deliberate over the promotions of the IPS Officers is learnt to have cleared names of 5 officers of the 1986 batch for being promoted from SP to DIG.Except SP (Motor Training) P K Jha who was recently chergesheeted for misconduct at a Patna hotel last year ,all the officers of this batch were cleared which include SP(ATS)Satish Sharma,SP (Vadodara Rural) Keshav Kumar, SP (Jamnagar) Satish Verma,SP (Gandhinagar) E Radhakrishnaiah and SP (Surendra Nagar) Vinod Kumar Mal.

Anantha new Director of IIT Chennai

M S Anantha has been appointed new Director of the IIT Chennai. He succeeds R Natrajan who has become Chairman of the AICTE.
