Now this is almost certain that DG CRPF Trinath Mishra will succeed Mukund Kaushal in North Block. 1963 batch IPS Officer ,Secretary Home (Police) Mukund Kaushal is superannuating this month end. Trinath Mishra is 1965 batch IPS Officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Three Additional Secretaries get extension

Three Additional Secretaries in the Government of India have been granted extension in their tenure.They are:Ms K S Sarma, Dr V K Agnihotri and Mohan Kanda. Incidentally,all three IAS Officers of 1968 batch are from the Andhra Pradesh cadre.They are now expecting to be promoted to the rank of Secretary in the GOI in a couple of months.

Hooja gets extension

Finally a tug of war for the post of Senior Directing Staff ,National Defence College is over.Meenakshi Hooja ,1975 batch IAS Officer of Rajasthan cadre has been able to get an extension for a period of one year.A couple of IAS Officers had been eyeing for the post.
