Another bureaucratic reshuffle at the Secretary level in the Government of India is expected to take place this week.A couple of 1967 batch IAS Officers may find a place .Postings in the ITPO and the Planning Commission are also being made.

Will Mohapatra be Secretary Textiles ?

S B Mohaptra could not make it as Secretary Tourism in the Government of India. Though the 1967 batch IAS Officer Mohapatra is keen for Commerce Ministry,his chances of becoming Secretary Textiles are now bright.Minister Textiles Kanshi Ram Rana has personally asked for the services of Mohaptra who is currently Special Secretary home . If this proposal is turned down his batchmate Rajendra Nair is sure to take over from Anil Kumar who is superannuating this month end.
