Saxena to be Member-Secretary Planning Commission!

 

Senior most bureaucrat in the Government of India G C Saxena may be appointed Member-Secretary in the Planning Commission to pave way for Finance Secretary Ajit Kumar . The Union Finance Secretary Ajit Kumar may take over from Cabinet Secretary T R Prasad who is due to retire on July 31. Saxena and Ajit Kumar both are 1964 batch IAS officers.
 

 


 



Narad to be acting Petroleum Secretary

Additional Secretary in the Petroleum Ministry Naresh Narad has been appointed acting Secretary Petroleum from Friday.He is currently on a foreign visit. Petroleum Secretary P Shankar has taken over as Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu.

 
 

 

 

 

Two new RBI Deputy Governors

 

Finance Ministry sources say that State Bank of India Deputy Managing Director Vepa Kamesham and RBI Executive Director G Munippam will be two new Deputy Governors of the Reserve Bank if India..
 

 

 

 

 

 

Changes after arrival of Ashok Saikia !

Bureaucratic reshuffle in the Government of India is expected to take place only after the arrival of Ashok Saikia from the United States. The trusted Joint Secretary of the Prime Minister ,Ashok Saikia is due to return in a day or two.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IPS Reshuffle in Karnataka

 

Some IPS changes have taken place in Karnataka.B G Jyotiprakash will be new DIG (Administration).Prem Shankar Meena and V Gangadeep have been appointed DIG Fire Services and DIG Railways respectively.G M Nayath has been posted to the Economic Offences .Four IPS officers have been promoted to the rank of DIG. They are: M R Pujar, M F Pasha, M V Murthy and Raghvendra H Aurdkar.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oomen to continue in Kerala

The new Kerala Government has decided not to revert 1973 batch IAS officer Sukumar Oomen to the parent Manipur-Tripura cadre. He is currently posted in Kerala.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IPS officers up in arms

 

The Uttar Pradesh IPS association is up in arms against the state Government over the sudden transfer of Faizabad SP Prem Prakash Shrivastva . The association has convened a meeting on June 9 to take up this matter. Shrivastava was transferred soon after the attack on Mahant Nratya Gopal Das in Ayodhya.
 

 

 

 

 

Three new Chief IT Commissioners for North-Western region

 

The Finance Ministry has created three new posts of the Chief Income Tax Commissioners in North-Western region.S C Grover will be new CCIT Amritsar. He has been transferred from Delhi. Hardeep Kaur and Sudhakar Verma will be CCIT Panchkula and Ludhiana respectively.
