Mankad to join ADB in July

Secretary Industrial Development Piyush Mankad will join the Asian Development Board as Executive Director in the first week of July.He is 1964 batch IAS Officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. This prestigious assignment will be for a period of three years.
 

 


 



Who will be Secretary Personnel?

Who will be Secretary Personnel in the Government of India?.Initially Chief Secretary of Orissa D P Bagchi was ahead in the race .Now in the corridors of power names of Ms P V Jyakrishnan, A K Agrawal and B K Chaturvedi are also in circulation. The post is to fall vacant on June 13 when the present incumbent B B Tandan joins the Election Commission as a Member.

 

 

 

 

Dr Neelratna to be PS to Jatia

Dr B P Neelratna will be the new PS to Union Labour Minister Satya Narain Jatia. He is 1983 batch IAS Officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He will replace Surya Pratap Singh Parihar 1986 batch IAS Officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. Parihar has returned to the parent cadre after completion of his tenure.
 

 

 

 

 

 

Case registered against Custom Officials

The CBI has registered case against three CustomOfficials in Delhi for allegedly giving clearance to parcels containing foreign exchange. Case has been registered against Deputy Commissioner Customs K P Singh and two Inspectors Ravi Sharma and C S Sharma.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

War between Shanta Kumar and Vittal !

Who is supreme Union Minister or the CVC?.Union Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shanta Kumar has proved that the Union Minister is more powerful. The CVC N Vittal wanted revocation of suspension of an Under Secretary in the Food Ministry Ram Phar. The Under Secretary had been suspended by Shanta Kumar for alleged dereliction of duty. When Ram Phar approached the CVC ,The Minister was directed to reinstate him. An agitated Shanta Kumar refused to reinstate the Under Secretary saying that the Government is not bound to accept the recommendation of the CVC.
