Empanelment of 1967 and 1970 batch IAS Officers today

 

Empanelment of 1970 batch IAS Officers to the rank of Additional Secretary in the Government of India is to take place on Tuesday. About 30 officers in the country have been shortlisted. Review meeting for the empanelment of about one dozen officers of the IAS and other services to the rank of Secretary is also being held.
 

 


 



Will Mohapatra replace Anil Kumar?

Grapevine has it that Orissa cadre 1967 batch IAS officer Samar Valav Mohapatra is replacing Secretary Textiles Anil Kumar. Minister Textiles Kanshi Ram Rana has been gunning for his Secretary Anil Kumar for quite some time. The Minister has already requested the Prime Minister to change Anil Kumar .

 

 

 

 

1985 batch IAS officers promoted in Maharastra

The Maharastra Government on Monday promoted 1985 batch IAS Officers and accorded them super-time scale. There are altogether 15 officers of this batch in the state.Sanjay Ganesh Ubale of this batch has been appointed Secretary to the Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh
 

 

 

 

 

 

Gavai is new PS to Patil

Satish G Gavai has been appointed new PS to Union Minister of State Finance Bala Saheb Vikhe Patil. Gavai is 1984 batch IAS Officer of the Maharastra cadre.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New post for Chhatre

 

S L Chhatre is the new Chief Executive Officer of Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India. He has replaced B Ratnam.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only five Directors in PMO

Process pf downsizing the bureaucracy is on in the Government of India. Now there will be only five Directors in the PMO. Earlier there used to be eight to ten Directors.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Punjab IPS Officers in UK

 

Five Punjab Police Officers led by G S Aulakh ADG Operations have gone to UK on a short training programme. A Prasad and R S Cheema have also accompanied him.
