Once again Union Minister Sports and Youth Welfare Uma Bharti has shown her strength. She wanted her Secretary N N Khanna to go and he had to go. Uma Bharti was unhappy with Khanna and had urged the Prime Minister to remove him .
 

 


 

 

 



Vasundhara fails

Union Minister of State for Personnel Vasundhara Raje Scindia has failed to get her nominee appointed as Secretary Personnel. Vasundhara Raje wanted Orissa Chief Secretary D P Bagchi as Secretary Personnel.She had made her choice known to the Prime Minister. The PMO, however, turned down the proposal of Ms Scindia and appointed a competent IAS Officer A K Agrawal as her Secretary.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IPS promotions in Haryana

 

 Four-IPS Officers in Haryana have been promoted to the rank of DIG.They are: B J Sandhu,K Selvaraj,Sheel Madhur and R C Jowel.Some Changes have also been made. K K Sharma will be Assistant DIG CID. Gaya SP to be transferred!

The Bihar Government is all set to transfer Gaya SP Ravindran Shankaran in a couple of days. The SP had been slapped by the local RJD MLA Bhagwatia Devi three days ago.So far there is no reaction from the Bihar IPS association.  A top retired police officer of the country J F Ribeiro has blasted the present political system in the country.  A major IAS reshuffle has taken place in Chhatisgarh.Robert Harangdola and Narain Singh will be new Divisional Commissioner Raipur and Bilaspur respectively.Indira Mishra is new Principal Secretary GAD.Her predecessor R Raghvan has been made Principal Secretary Industries and Mines.Vivek Dhand will be Chairman Raipur Development Authority in addition to his present job.
