Where is Devyani Rana?.Top intelligence sources say that she has reached Moscow far away from Nepal and India.Sources dismiss the reports that she is in Gwalior.According to media reports late King Dipendra wanted to marry Devyani Rana which was opposed by the royal family and this led to killings.
 

 


 



Neera Jaggi is Deputy Chairperson JLNPT

Neera Jaggi is the new Deputy Chairperson of Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Trust Mumbai. She is 1980 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. Saggi is the second lady officer after Anna Malhotra ex-Chairperson, JLNPT To be appointed at a senior level.

 
 

 

 

 

Suspension orders revoked

The new TamilNadu Government has revoked the suspension notices served on two IAS officers.They are -N Haribhaskar who was the Chief Secretary when Jayalalitha was the Chief Minister earlier and C Ramachandran who was Principal Secretary Industries then.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nath new DFC MD

Ashok Nath an IAS officer of 1966 batch from AGMU cadre is the new Chairman and Managing Director of Delhi Financial Corporation He has been appointed in place of Geeta Sagar.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IAS reshuffle in Assam

 

Over half a dozen IAS officers have been reshuffled in Assam. P C Sarma will be Secretary Transport in addtion to his present assignment as Secretary Municipal Administration.Kumari Parul Devei DAs has been made Secretary Handlooms and Textiles. Surajit Mitra who is Secretary Tourism has also been given Mines and Minerals.Alok Perti is new Secretary Health.H S Das will be new Development Commissioner Hill Areas. Biron Dutta has been given additional charge of Panchayat and N C Barooah Secretary Planning has been relieved of additional charge of Rural Development and Panchayat.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3 Medical colleges face derecognition

Three Medical Colleges in Bihar are facing derecognition threat due to large number of vacancies of professors. Medical Colleges are:Patna,Darbhanga and Bhagalpur.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Police Commissioner system in Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to introduce Police Commissioner system.It will be introduced first in Indore on an experimental basis. Despite the opposition from the IAS lobby the trio of Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, Chief Secretary K S Sharma and DGP Subhash Chandra Tripathi got Okayed this historical decision.
