Rolly Shrivastava is the new Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Child and Woman Welfare.She is an Indian Revenue Service officer. Rolly has replaced 1977 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS officer Sarojini Thakur who has returned to the parent state.

Major IAS -IPS reshuffle on cards in TN

A major IAS and IPS shake up is on the cards in TamilNadu. The new Chief Minister Jayalalitha has discussed transfer matter with her two trusted retired bureaucrats former Chief Secretary C S N Hari Bhaskar and former DGP Walter Dawaram.Those who were sidelined during the DMK regime will be rewarded. She is also keen to bring efficient officers who are on deputation to the Government of India.
