Six Secretary level posts to be filled Half a dozen Secretary level posts are to be filled in the Government of India next month. The Prime Ministers office is currently busy in the selection of officers. The posts held by following IAS officers will fall vacant : p shankar 1966 batch TN, B B Tandan 1965 Himachal Pradesh, K B Saxena 1964 Bihar, Achla Maulik 1964 Karnataka, Srinavasan Kerala 1965 and Piyush Mankad 1964 MP. will be the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence. Name of 1981
batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre has been cleared by the ACC.He
is currently a Director in the same Ministry. Will Kamal Taori be Chief Secretary Uttaranchal ? Rumour Mill says that Kamal Taori will be the next Chief Secretary of Uttranchal.He is 1968 batch IAS officer of the Uttranchal cadre. The post has fallen vacant following the appointment of present Chief Secretary A V Singh to the Centre.He is going to head Defence Procurement Board in the Ministry of Defence. Rangachari
