Issar to be JS Revenue

Promila Issar will be new Joint Secretary Revenue in the Ministry of Finance. She is 1972 batch IAS Officer of Haryana cadre. Issar would take over from Charusheela Sohni who is returning to the parent Maharastra cadre after the expiry of extended tenure this week.

No room for Laxmi Ratan

V S Laxmi Ratan is unlikely to get a berth in the Government of India .TamilNadu cadre 1967 batch IAS Officer Laxmi Ratan is empanelled to the rank of Secretary . The present Government seems to be not in a mood to oblige this IAS Officer.

Uttar Pradesh cadre 1968 batch IAS Officer Om Ved has taken voluntary retirement. Topper of the batch Om Ved is considered to be an honest and upright officer. .

IPS promotions likely in Gujrat

Five IPS Officers in Gujrat are likely to be promoted to the rank of IG. Four IPS Officers are to get the rank of DIG. Altogethr 13 IPS Officers are being given Selection grade.

Bihar's stand on cadre

Bihar Government has categorically refused to hand over services of even a single IAS Officer to Jharkhand. Meanwhile, the Government of India has turned down the request of over 16 Bihar cadre IAS Officers for joining Jharkhand cadre.Among others Ms Arvind Pande,Niaz Ahmad, M K Sinha, Nandu Prasad,C P Kiran, C Leema, and Ram Lakhan Prasad wanted change in their cadre.
