Who is responsible for IAS frustration

Earlier it used to take long 27 years for an IAS to become a Secretary in the Government of India.Now it takes 34 years or even much more adding fuel to the growing frustration among them. Take for instance the case of 1968 batch IAS Officers who are likely to be empanelled for the post of Secretary in a month or two. Who is to be blamed?.Simply the Government or the entire system which has not come upto expectations even after 50 years of Independence.

Pani gets extension

Deputy Election Commissioner ,Election Commission of India S C Pani has been granted another one year extension in his tenure. Orissa cadre 1972 batch IAS Officer Pani was to return parent cadre early this month after completion of his extended tenure.
