Foreign visits to be curtailed

Prime Minister's office has asked all the state governments to exercise restraint in matters of foreign visits by the ministers and officials. PMO has written letter to all the Chief Secretaries to verify all proposals as its financial implications before making recommendation for the Prime Minister's approval.

New ADGP post in West Bengal

A new post of ADG (Telecom) is being created in West Bengal. Chief Minister Buddhdeb Bhattacharya has given nod for the creation of this post.

Agrawal is now ambassador Angola

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has reportedly ordered a probe against 1991 batch IAS officer J Sudha Rani currently Special Officer Competent Authority Urban Land Ceiling. Probe was ordered after the Chief Minister received complaints of irregularities.
