First time in the history

It has happened for the first time in the country's history that a Cabinet Secretary has been made from a batch from which there has already been a Cabinet Secretary in the past. Prabhat Kumar of the 1963 batch has already adorned the post in the past and now T R Prasad is also from the same batch.

Qureshi to be DG Doordarshan !

S Y Qureshi has scored over other IAS officers including R C Mishra and Rakesh Mohan.An IAS officer of 1971 batch from Haryana cadre Qureshi is all set to become Director General of Doordarshan.

This is the year of 1966 batch IPS

1966 batch IPS have never had it so good in the past.Things have reached such a pass that this year is now being said be that a year of 1966 batch. At present there are about two dozen Directors Generals(DGs) in different states and CPOs as chiefs from this batch.

Poor Keshubhai's men

How Keshu Bhai is being undermined by the Narendra Modi regime in Gujarat can be judged from the manner in which officers who were close to him are being treated.A senior engineer from Jamnagar C J Thakur was OSD in the CMO during Keshu Bhai's regime.Even though he was summarly pushed out of the 45 days ago and reverted back to the Urban Development Department,he has not yet received a posting. Same is the case with Mehul Dave a Deputy Development Officer who was a key figure in Keshu Bhai's CMO. Now sent back to the Revenue Department ,Dave is without a posting. Both Thakur and Dave have not even received their salary.
