Empanelment of 1968 batch IAS Officers to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India is to take place on Thursday. Three dozen Officers are believed to have been shortlisted.

Justice B P Singh to be Judge Supreme Court

Justice B P Singh Chief Justice of the Mumbai High Court is being appointed Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Official orders are expected to be issued soon.Meanwhile, Justice P Krishna Aiyar Balasubramanyan judge of the Kerala High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court.

Three 1966 batch IAS Officers are believed to have been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the Government of IndiaThree officers Ms S N Roy, Ramji and P K Mishra are said to have been empanelled during a review meeting held on Monday.

Posting of 1970 batch IAS Officers soon

Posting of 1970 batch IAS Officers to the rank of Additional Secretary in the Government of India is to commence this week or next week. Posting orders of some of the empanelled officers including Ms D P Singh, Purnalingam,A M Dasgupta and L K Joshi are likely to be issued.

Half a dozen 1967 batch IAS Officers Ms Arun Gupta ,G C Shrivastava,N L Lakhan Pal, S N Ghosh , Samarkant Ray and K K Mishra have been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India. Empanelment was done at a review meeting held in Delhi on Monday.

Two new DG rank officers in Madhya Pradesh

Dinesh Jugran and G S Mathur two 1966 batch IPS Officers have been promoted to the rank of Director General. Jugran who is currently Transport Commissioner will now be DG Home Guards.He will replace U M Joshi who is superannuating on Friday. G S Mathur will now be Special DG (Administration).
