Three 1969 batch IAS Officers to be promoted

Three 1969 batch IAS Officers Ms Radha Singh, Shekhar Dutt and Dev Swaroop are being promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary in the Government of India this month. Barring the three all the empanelled officers of this batch have been accommodated in GOI.

K P P Rao is being promoted to the rank of Joint Director in the CBI soon. 1979 batch IPS Officer of West Bengal cadre, Rao is currently Deputy Director CBI in Hyderabad.

CEO of the Prasar Bharti Anil Baijal has been granted six months extension. Now Baijal would continue as CEO till February 4 next. Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Baijal has been holding additional charge as CEO of Prasar Bharti.Rumours of his change had been rife for quite some time.
