Vinod Rai is joining the Cabinet Secretariat as Joint Secretary. He is 1972 batch IAS Officer of Kerala cadre. Rai is currently Principal Secretary Finance Kerala Government.

Bhave is FA Forest and Environment Ministry

Y S Bhave who is Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information Technology has also taken over as Financial Adviser Forests and Environment Ministry. He is 1972 batch IAS Officer of Maharastra cadre.

Shahid Ahmad promoted in CRPF

Shahid Ahmad has been promoted to the rank of IG in the CRPF. He is 1979 batch IPS Officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre.

Ramachandran joins SPG

Ramchandran who was denied promotion in the Intelligence Bureau has joined the Special Protection Group (SPG) to the rank of IG. He is 1978 batch IPS Officer.
