Amarjeet Kaur to be JS RD

Amarjeet Kaur Ahuja is being appointed Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Rural Development in the Govermment of India. She is 1972 batch IAS Officer of Rajasthan cadre. Amarjeet Kaur will replace B B Baruri who superannuated last week.

Sudarshan Singhal to head NDC

Finally the Government has picked up 1978 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS Officer Sudershan Singhal for the post of Senior Directing staff, National Defence College.Currently Singhal is head of the Kendriya Bhandar.The post will fall vacant this month end after the expiry of tenure of Rajasthan cadre 1975 batch IAS Officer Meenakshi Hooja.

Tenure of Pall ends

Tenure of Joginder Pall Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has ended last week. He is an 1RS Officer of 1970 batch.

Udeshi nominated to SBI board

Executive Director Reserve Bank of India K J Udeshi has been nominated on the Central Board of State Bank of India in place of Dr V Y Reddy.

Change in ISRO

K R Sridharamurthy will replace N Sampath in Antrix Corporation the marketing wing of Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO). Sampath who was Executive Director has tendered his resignation.

S Hemachandran Transport Secretary Pondicherry has been transferred to Andman & Nicobar Island. 1984 batch IAS Officer of UT cadre Hemachandran has been given super-time scale.

M Sathiavathi will be new Transport Secretary. Dr Mrs Satbir Silas has been given additional charge of Labour. Prashant Goyal will also look after Printing and Stationary.

V P Singh is new IFCI Chief

V P Singh is the new Chairman of the IFCI.He will replace P V Narsimhan. Singh was earlier Executive Director of the IDBI.
