R P Sinha to retire

R P Sinha Secretary level officer in the Government of India is superannuating this month end. 1965 batch Assam-Meghlaya cadre IAS Officer Sinha,is currently posted in the Planning Commission. Meanwhile,Bihar cadre 1967 batch IAS Officer Mantreshwar Jha has been named as his successor.

Orissa Government has filed a case against an IAS Officer P B Das on charge of usurping land of Bhubneshwar Development Authority when he was the Vice Chairman.

P P S Siddhu gets extension

Pritam Pal Singh Siddhu who is IG (Administration) in the CRPF will now return to the parent Uttar Pradesh cadre in March. 1975 batch IPS Officer Siddhu who is on deputation to the CRPF has been granted extension in his tenure.

Kerala to reduce senior level IAS posts !

Kerala Government is planning to downsize higher executive posts in bureaucracy. If things materialise some posts of the Chief Secretary rank and Prinicipal Secretary rank would be abolished. A panel under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Krishna Moorthy has already been set up in this matter.

Controversy over Bihar Bhawan in Delhi

Controversy over the Bihar Bhawan in Delhi has so far not been sorted out. The Jharkhand Government has now approached the Centre to intervene. Bihar Government has refused to part with one of the Bhawans to the newly carved out Jharkhand State.
