Joint Secretary Expenditure in the Ministry of Finance A K Singh is returning to the parent Madhya Pradesh cadre next month. Tenure of 1971 batch IAS Officer is coming to an end on November 6.

Jaruhar couple recalled

An IPS couple Rakesh and Manjri Jaruhar are returning to the parent Jharkhand cadre. While Rakesh is on deputation to the BPR&D'Manjri is IG North Zone in the CRPF. She is expected to report to the Jharkhand Government in the first week of November.This IPS couple has been recalled by the Jharkhand Government.

Reunion of 1966 batch IPS Officers

To mark the completion of 35 years in service 1966 batch IPS Officers are going to have a get-together on November 8 at Hyderabad.North Block feels that 2001 is the year of this batch. Infact.most of the top Police posts in the country are held by this batch.

Pradipto Ghosh emerges stronger in PMO

Pradipto Ghosh a low profile Officer in the Prime Minister's Office has now emerged as an important functionary. 1969 batch IAS Officer Ghosh had earlier served Atal Behari Vajpayee when the latter was External Affairs Minister.

Anuradha Mansingh and her husband Labnyendu Mansingh are unlikely to join the Government India. 1970 batch IAS Couple of Gujarat cadre has been empanelled to the rank of Additional Secretary in the GOI.This couple has preferred to serve the state.

A K Sinha has been promoted to the rank of IG in the BPR&D. He is 1979 batch IPS Officer of Union Territory cadre.
