Jayant Sanyal a Secretary rank Officer in the Government of India is superannuating this month end. He is 1965 batch IAS Officer of West Bengal cadre.

Gera to be Director Textiles

Prem Kumar Gera is joining the Ministry of Textiles as Director next month.1985 batch IAS Officer of Gujarat cadre Gera would replace 1984 batch IAS Officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre Yashpal Singh. Tenure of Singh has ended.

Review meeting after Dussera!

Review meeting for the empanelment of 1967 batch IAS Officers is now expected to take place after Dussera. About half a dozen officers of this batch are expecting empanelment to the rank of Secretary in the Governmentof India.

Retirement age to be reduced in CIL!

If sources in the Coal Ministry are to be believed retirement age of the Coal India Limited employees and officials is being decreased from 60 to 58 years. A proposal to this effect has already been moved by the Ministry.

Singh to head Ayodhya cell

Shatrughana Singh is being appointed head of the special Ayodhya cell . Singh is an IAS Officer of 1983 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre. The PMO has revived the cell to monitor and resolve the issue.
