Chandra Mohan is being tipped to join the Ministry of Forests and Environment in the Government of India. He is 1978 batch IAS Officer of UT cadre. Two posts have fallen vacant in the ministry.

Retirement age of Parliament Officials to be raised

The Govrnment has decided to raise the retirment age of the Secretary General of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha from 60 to 62 years. Official announcement in this matter is expected soon.
