Orders of Tripathi after PM's return

Sant Kumar Tripathi is being appointed Secretary Higher Education in the Ministry of Human Resource Development in Government of India. Formal orders are to be issued soon after the return of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee from his foreign visit. 1966 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre Tripathi is currently Secretary Elementary Education. The post had fallen vacant following the appointment of Bal Krishna Chaturvedi as Secretary Petroleum.

Rashmi Verma to replace Khanna !

Joint Secretary in the PMO Rashmi Verma is being appointed as Additional Director General ,Tourism in the Government of India. In all probability 1982 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre Rashmi Verma would replace M K Khanna whose tenure has already ended.

Shahi gets three years tenure

Newly appointed Secretary Power in the Government of India R V Shahi did not get five year term. Shahi who is a technocrat, has been given three years tenure.
