Shahi appointed Secretary Power

The Government of India has appointed R V Shahi, currently chairman and managing director of BSES Limited, as Secretary in the Ministry of Power. This is for the second time that a technocrat has been appointed as Power Secretary.


IAS officer joins Private Sector

1985 batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer Sanjay Gupta who quit the service has joined private sector. Sanjay Gupta, a young and energetic high-flying bureuacrat was sidelined when Narendra Modi became the state's CM. Gupta quit the services and joind as CEO of the Adani Infrastructure.

Ramesh Chandra gets extension

Chief Secretary rank 1966 batch IAS officer in the Delhi Government has been granted six months extension. Ramesh Chandra who is husband of Delhi Chief Secretary Sahailja Chandra was due to retire last week.

HUDCO Chairman gets threee months extension

HUDCO Chairman V Suresh has been granted three months extension beginning April 9. Tenure of Suresh was to end today.

Irked over his posting senior Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer V K Malhotra has proceeded on a long leave.Malhotra who was CEO NOIDA had been shifted to UP Mantralaya as Principal Secretary Secretariat Administration.
