PM to clear 1971 batch empanelment file this week

Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee will clear empanelment file of 1971 batch IAS officers this week. Altogether 26 IAS officers have been empanelled to the rank of Additional Secretary in Government of India.

Three 1970 batch IAS officers empanelled

As many as three IAS officers of the 1970 batch have reportedly been empanelled to the rank of Additional Secretary during a recent review meet. Of the five, those who have been empanelled include Baleshwar Rai, SP Agarwal and VM Lal.

1966 batch IAS empanelment

Is the empanelment of 1966 batch IAS still to come. This question is being raised in view of the fact that 1966 batch TamilNadu cadre IAS officer Dharamrajan Krishnan,s case is still pending with the CAT.

Gurubachan Jagat ,the former DG of BSF has been appointed Member of the Union Public Service Commission. He is 1966 batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre.

IAS postings in Haryana

Three young IAS officers have been given postings in Haryana. Vikas Gupta, Pankaj Yadav and Vijay Dahiya have been appointed Assistant Commissioners Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ambala respectively.

IPS reluctant to go on deputation ?

Why are the 1975 batch IPS officers reluctant to go to Centre on deputation. At present there are only 12 , out of 53 , IPS of this batch on deputation to the Government of India.
