Left with barely six months of service. she first wrote to the Planning Commission's secretary that her date of birth was not April 23, 1943 as mentioned in the records but it was 1944. She also produced a School leaving certificate to substantiate her claim but the secretary didn't obliged her. The UPSC also rejected her claim though the Director, Personnel department accepted it and sent a letter in this connection to the Planning Commission from where it has been again sent back to the Personnel department saying - How was it possible.
