Using media for vested interests

In Mumbai stories are being planted in media by vested interests. The new Mumbai Police Commissioner is to be appointed on January 1 and various IPS lobbies are utilising their media contacts to scuttle the chances of others. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, has however taken a strong note of it and even warned those involved in the malpractice.
