With the Madhya Pradesh government permitting to hold the DPC for the new posts of Chief Conservator of Forests, 11 IFS are likely to be promoted on the posts this month. These posts have come into being following cadre revision in the Forest department. Those likely to be promoted include RN Saxena, Hukumchand, AK Singh, Arvind Kumar Jain, Dr. Amitesh Shukla, Ajit Sonakia, KS Reddy, SP Singh, MS Garvpal, Krishna Avtar, Ravi Srivastava, Jitendra Agarwal and RK Singh.

CVC indicts 214 officials

The CVC is understood to have advised major penalties against as many as 214 officials all over the country. The indicted officials include four bankers.
