A V Singh is being tipped to be next Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh. 1967 batch IAS officer Singh would take over on March 1 from P K Mehrotra who is superannuating this month end.

Adarsh Mishra has been empanelled to the rank of Additional Secretary in the Government of India. She is 1969 batch IAS officer of UT cadre.

Kerala IAS couple to join Chhatisgarh Government

Cordial atmosphere has prompted young IAS officers from different parts of the country to join the Chhatisgarh Government.One 1991 batch Kerala cadre IAS couple of A Jayathilak and Ishita Roy is soon coming on deputation to Chhatisgarh. Ramamurthy is acting LIC Chief

A Ramamurthy has taken over as acting Chief of the LIC. The post has fallen vacant following the appointment of G N Bajpai as Chairman of the SEBI. Ramamurthy who is currently Managing Director of the LIC is scheduled to retire in July.

Three 1987 batch IPS officers Aruna Mohan Rao, I S Chauhan and A K Soni have been promoted to the rank of DIG in Madhya Pradesh.Aruna Mohan Rao will be DIG Fire Services Indore.A K Soni has been made DIG Training. I S Chauhan has been appointed DIG Home Guards. One DIG SAF Purshottam Sharma has been transferred to Chambal.

Secretary Science and Technology Anil Kumar has been appointed Administrator Bihar State Roadways Transport Corporation. Secretary Veterinary Phool Singh has been shifted to Education.
