President's rule in UP likely ! Despite the claim by Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav ,possibility about imposition of President's rule in Uttar Pradesh is not ruled out.Political pundits are sure that President's rule is in the offing. Two 1966 batch IAS officers to join GOI Narayan Swami Ramji and P K Mishra are being given Secretary level postings in the Government of India in March.Ramji and Mishra ,1966 batch IAS officers of West Bengal and Orissa cadre respectively were empanelled to the rank of Secretary couple a of months back. Vrinda Sarup to be JS HRD ! Vrinda Sarup is being tipped to join Human Resource Development Ministry as Joint Secretary. 1981 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer Sarup is to join as Joint Secretary Elementary Education. Burjia and Jha to get postings Jagpal Singh Burjia and Arun Jha, both 1981 batch Bihar cadre IAS officers are being appointed Joint Secretaries in the Government of India in a week or so. Either of the officers are currently PS to Union Ministers. Appointment of Chairman MSEB this week ! Appointment of new Chairman of the Maharastra Electricity Board is likely to be made this week. Currently 1970 batch IAS officer D K Shankaran is ahead in the race. The post had fallen vacant following the Central deputation of Vinay Bansal. Why did a Secretary meet Chandra Babu ? Why did a Secretary in Government of India meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad last week ?.Naturally,to seek favour for the post of CAG. Grapevine has it that newly appointed CMD of Delhi Transport Corporation K S Waidwan will be changed soon after the Civic body elections. He is senior to Delhi Chief Secretary Shailja Chandra. Two CBI Joint Directors relieved CBI has relieved two Joint Directors M S Bali and Neeraj Kumar. Bali who is 1976 batch IPS officer of UP cadre and Neeraj Kumar 1976 batch IPS officer of UT cadre have gone back to the parent cadre after completion of their tenure. Bureaucratic changes likely in Madhya Pradesh Bureaucratic changes are likely to take place in Madhya Pradesh in a day or two. Final touches are being given for the changes. IPS reshuffle in Nagaland G K Rengma has been elevated as IG (Training and Border). Burkumzuk Ao has been promoted to the rank of DIG . He will be DIG Kohima. S N Achumi DIG Dimapur has been shifted to Training. L T Lotha will be new DIG Dimapur. IAS changes in Bihar Wasim Ahmad Anjum and Hiralal Collectors of Rohtas and Motihari respectively have been transferred. S Shiv Kumar will be new Collector of Motihari. Ahsan Ahmad has been made Collector of Rohtas. Sandhu is DIG Vigilance B S Sandhu will be new DIG Vigilance and Security in Haryana. He would replace Parminder Raj who has proceeded on leave. Anoop Singh is Director IMF Anoop Singh former Adviser to the RBI Governor has been appointed Director for special operations in the IMF. |
