Empanelment of 1980 batch IPS

Altogether 14 IPS officers of 1980 batch have been empanelled to the rank of IG in the Government of India. There are about 40 officers of this batch.

Govindan Nair has joined as Minister (Agriculture) in Indian Embassy at Rome and Alternate Permanent Representative to the FAO,WFP and IFAD. 1978 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre Nair was earlier Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture.

Jadhav to be PS Finance Maharastra !

A K D Jadhav is likely to be next Principal Secretary Finance to Maharastra Government. He is 1970 batch IAS officer. Name of 1969 batch IAS officer O P Gehrotra is also in circulation. The post had fallen vacant following the appointment of Anupam Dasgupta as Additional Secretary Revenue in Government of India.

Bhagirath Prasad to be CGMT ( MP Circle) !

S K Dogra has been appointed IG Law and Order South Zone Madurai. K Rajendran will be IG Police Operations.One DIG S Ramanathan has been posted as DIG Home Guards.

Four SSP's changed in Punjab

Four new SSP's have been appointed in Punjab. Param Raj Singh,R K Sharda,K S Pannu and Tejinder Pal Singh will be new SSPs' of Patiala, Batala, Muktsar and Ferozpur respectively.

Balaji Shrivastava has joined the RAW. He is 1988 batch IPS officer of UT cadre.He was earlier posted in Delhi.

Kakkad repatriated to Maharastra

S A Kakkad has been repatriated to the parent Maharastra cadre. 1987 batch IPS officer Kakkad was Superintendent of Police CBI in Mumbai.
