Vasudevan is 1968 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre -- home state of the former Prime Minister.

CBI SP transferred from Gujrat

NSG Chief to return Tamil Nadu

Director General of National Security Guards (NSG) R Rajgopalan has been repatriated to parent Tamil Nadu cadre. 1965 batch IPS officer Rajgopalan had personally requested for his repatriation. DG ITBP S C Chaubey will hold additional charge of the NSG.
