Six Secretaries to retire this month Six Secretaries in the Government of India are retiring this month end.They are : Ajit Kumar (Punjab 1966),Planning Commission, Kiran Agrawal (Haryana 1964) Planning Commission, Ashok Pahwa (Haryana ) Secretary Fertilizer,V Anand (Uttar Pradesh 1965) Secretary Small Industries,P Sengupta (Assam-Meghalaya 1965) Commerce and P T Wangdi (Himachal Pradesh 1965) SC/ST FDC. Posting of 1968 batch IAS officers in March Posting of 1968 batch IAS officers to the rank and scale of Secretary in the Government of India will commence in the first week of March. Altogether 29 officers have been empanelled . Five IAS officers of this batch have also been chosen for the posts equivalent to the rank of Secretary. P M Mohan is back to MP P M Mohan who was on deputation to the CBI is back to parent Madhya Pradesh cadre after completion of his tenure. 1987 batch IPS officer served the CBI as SP in Bhopal, Panji and Nagpur. Khurang to be CJ Chhattisgarh High Court Justice Khurang of the Karnataka High Court is being appointed Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court. He would replace W A Shishak who has been transferred to Himachal Pradesh. Two Collectors to be transferred in Bihar District Collectors of Rohtas Vashim Ahmad Anjum and Purvi Champaran Hira Lal have been sent on forced leave under the instructions of the Election Commission. New GM South-Eastern Railway Vinod Narain Garg has taken over as new General Manager of South-Eastern Railways. Gowda new VC of Kuvempu University Dr K Chidananda Gowda has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Kuvempu University in Karnataka. H Mishra dies Outgoing CMD of the Paradeep Phosphates H Mishra died in Delhi this morning.1968 batch IAS officer Mishra was 58. He leaves behind wife and two children. |
