Major bureaucratic reshuffle next week

A major Secretary level reshuffle is expected to take place in the Government of India next week.Two 1966 batch IAS officers Narayanswamy Ramji West Bengal cadre and P K Mishra Orissa cadre are sure to join the GOI as Secretaries.Four 1967 batch IAS officers Rajendra Nair, D C Gupta , G C Shrivastava and Lakhan Pal are also being appointed regular Secretaries.A couple of Secretaries are also to be changed.

2001 batch of IAS to report this month end

The newly recruited 59 IAS officers of 2001 batch who are currently on Bharat Darshan would report to their respective states by this month end. Their Bharat Darshan is scheduled to complete soon.
