Will NSG Chief return to Tamil Nadu ?

Is the newly appointed NSG Chief Rajgopalan keen to return to his cadre of parent Tamil Nadu ?Informed sources said that 1965 batch IPS Officer Rajgopalan had sent feelers to the Union Home Ministry bosses to this effect. Will the Government of India allow Rajgopalan to go back to TamilNadu ?.

Cabinet Secretary overruled

Cabinet Secretary T R Prasad has been overruled by the Prime Minister in a particular case pertaining to Power Secretary A K Basu.In fact,Basu is a powerful contender for the post of Chairman, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).Since Basu is a Member and Convenor of the Selection Committee ,Cabinet Secretary strongly opposed his candidature. Government of India has,however,overruled the Cabinet Secretary by giving a No Objection Certificate to Basu.Indication is sufficient !.

New TN Commissioner for disabled
