Prasad to get extension. !

When the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister sought the expert advice as to how to avoid posting of a Cabinet Secretary from the 1965 batch of IAS officers, they were told that the best way is to extend the tenure of the present Cabinet SecretaryT R Prasad by seven months i.e. allow him to continue upto the age of 62. Meanwhile the officers belonging to the 1965 batch would retire and thus question of providing any of them the post of the Cabinet Secretary would not arise.
