There are indications that External Affairs Minister Jaswant Singh will replace Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha. Name of Disinvestment Minister Arun Shourie is also doing the round for the post of Finance Minister. Yashwant Sinha may be shifted to Ministry of External Affairs .
Will President of Bharatiya Janata Party Jana Krishnamoorthy be inducted in the Union Cabinet during next Cabinet reshuffle ?. Highly placed sources said that since there is no representation of BJP from TamilNadu,Jana was being given Cabinet rank in the next reshuffle.

IAS reshuffle in Gujarat In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the state government on Thursday shifted the Godhra district collector Jayanti S Ravi and posted her as commissioner, mid-day meal scheme. The new district collector of Panchmahals is Manoj Agarwal, who was joint secretary, energy and petrochemicals so far. In other transfers announced on Thursday, M Sahu, additional CEO of Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, has been appointed as industries commissioner in addition to his present duties. K N Shelat, commissioner of disabilities, has been appointed commissioner of rural development. Rajesh Kishore, secretary in industries and mines, has been appointed as secretary, science and technology. In addition, he will continue to hold additional charge of CEO of Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB). R K Tripathi, chief editor of district gazetteers, will secretary higher and technical education. Modi government had sidelined Tripathi, a high-flying bureaucrat during the Keshubhai Patel regime. Another sidelined bureaucrat, Ravi Saxena, who was MD of Handloom Corporation, got little consolation in being appointed as commissioner, cottage and rural industries. IPS changes in Karnataka DIG Lokayukta H C Kishore Chandra has been appointed DIG Headquarters Bangalore. M F Pasha will now be DIG Security and Vigilance. Naik is new Customs Commissioner Kochi G V Naik is the new Customs Commissioner Kochi. Prior to this he was posted in Bhubaneshwar.
