Latest information says that Labanendu Mansingh is being appointed Additional Secretary Commerce. 1970 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre Mansingh would succeed Atul Sinha who has been posted as Secretary North-East Affairs. Name of Additional Secretary Power R Purnalingam is also in circulation for this post.

Rawal to succeed Dhanendra Kumar

Grapevine has it that Promod Chander Rawal is being appointed Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Telecom. He is 1969 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Social Justice Rawal would succeed Dhanendra Kumar who has been promoted to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India.

A K Jain to be JS Police !

Akhil Kumar Jain is being tipped to be the next Joint Secretary (Police) in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He would succeed O P Arya who is all set to return to the parent Uttranchal cadre. Jain is 1973 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre.
