1968 batch IPS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre R C Agrawal has been promoted to the rank of DG in Government of India. Agrawal who is currently Additional DG BSF has been elevated as Special Director General.

Ajay Raj Sharma to continue

Now one thing is certain Delhi Police Commissioner Ajay Raj Sharma is not joining the BSF as DG after the superannuation of Gurubachan Jagat this month end. He is going to continue as Police Commissioner Delhi. He would like to move the CBI in case present Director P C Sharma retires on June 30. No prizes for guessing whether this will happen ?
