Rashmi Verma appointed ADG Tourism

Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister,s Officer Rashmi Verma has been appointed Additional Director General Tourism in Government of India. 1982 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre Rashmi Verma would succeed 1974 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer M K Khanna who is back to the parent cadre after completion of his tenure.

Sinha is new JS Economic Affairs

Joint Secretary Banking U K Sinha will take over as Joint Secretary Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance on Monday. 1976 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer Sinha would replace 1976 batch IFS officer Dr Jaimini Bhagwati whose tenure expires on Saturday.

Hota to be UPSC Chairman on June 26

P C Hota will take over as new Chairman of the Union Public Service Commission on June 26. He would succeed Lt General Surendra Nath whose tenure is coming to an end on June 25.

A new post of IG level has been created in Rajasthan. Pukhraj Sirvi will be IG Border with headquarters at Jodhpur. Meanwhile, Veerendra Bahadur Singh has been made ADG Reorganisation .

Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Finance D Swaroop has been nominated on SEBI Board.
