Vasudevan says 'No'

R Vasudevan is reported to have turned down the offer for the post of Adviser to the Uttar Pradesh Governor.He is a retired IAS officer of UP cadre.

Devidayal's name rejected

If insiders are to be believed name of former Banking Secretary Devi Dayal was under active consideration of the Union Government for the post of Adviser to Uttar Pradesh Governor Vishnu Kant Shastri. The proposal of retired 1966 batch UP cadre IAS officer was ,however, rejected on the ground that he is junior to present Chief Secretary A P Verma.


Dilip Trivedi to be IG BSF Jammu

IG Border Security Force (BSF) Dilip Trivedi has been shifted to Jammu. 1977 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre Trivedi would replace Vijay Raman who is joining the Headquarters.

Pare -nominee of Mr. Brijesh Mishra, S.L.Lodha-a protégé of former BJP chief Kushabhau Thakre is heading DSB for Bhopal Two. Miss Bharti wants at least one of the two DSBs to be headed by a man of her choice.
