IG BSF Tripura Arvind Rajan has been shifted to the Headquarters . He has been appointed IG (S).M C Parmar would replace Rajan in Tripura.

J K Dutta to be relieved today

J K Dutta Joint Director CBI who is 1971 batch IPS officer of West Bengal cadre is going back to the parent cadre. He is to be relieved on Wednesday. After Neeraj Kumar and Bali ,he will be the third officer to be relieved from the CBI .

New LucknowZone IG

Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to appoint new IG of Lucknow Zone in place of R K Bhatia. Lucknow IG Bhatia has proceeded on long leave because of illness. There are, however, rumours that Bhatia has proceeded on leave to avoid police action in Ayodhya.
