Raja Raman not to join GOI !

P V Rajaraman is unlikely to join the Government of India.Rajaraman who is topper of 1967 batch of IAS is said to have been asked by the State Government not to join the GOI. Rajaraman had been empanelled last year to the rank of Secretary in the GOI.

IAS officers to be repatriated

New Punjab Government has decided to repatriate three IAS officers to their parent cadre. They are Ms Vivek Agrawal 1994 batch Madhya Pradesh, Sukhbir Singh 1988 batch Uttar Pradesh and K J S Cheema 1993 batch West Bengal. Currently all the three officers are on deputation to Punjab Government.

CAPART post downgraded

Secretary level post of the Chairman of CAPART in the Government of India has been downgraded to the rank of Additional Secretary. 1968 batch Punjab cadre IAS officer J S Gill has been appointed in place of Secretary rank 1966 batch Assam-Meghalaya cadre IAS officer Rangan Dutta who is superannuating this month end.
