Five vacancies of JS level in Defence Ministry

There are going to be five vacancies of the Joint Secretary level in the Ministry of Defence this year.Tenure of MS B A Roy (IFS 75),R P Bagai (Chhattisgarh IAS 70),A P Sharma (MT IAS 72),F Rajkumar (Karnataka IAS 72) and Santosh Kumar (Orissa IAS 74)will expire during the next six months.

P K Mohanty to be next CS Orissa

Pratip Kumar Mohanty is being tipped to be next Chief Secretary of Orissa. A close door meeting between Orissa Chief Minister Navin Patnaik and Mohanty has fuelled speculation to this effect. 1967 batch IAS officer Mohanty is currently posted in Planning Commission. Present Chief Secretary D P Bagchi is scheduled to retire in October.

Ashok Kumar to join CBI !

Ashok Kumar is likely to join the CBI soon. He is 1982 batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.
