Minister wants change of Secretary

Union Agriculture Minister Ajit Singh wants new Secretary Animal Husbandary. If top PMO sources are to be believed Ajit Singh has emphatically asked for the change of Dilip Kumar Biswas Secretary Animal Husbandary. Biswas is 1967 batch West Bengal cadre IAS officer.

K N Singh joins Telecom Board

K N Singh has joined the Telecom Board as Member (Technology). He has succeeded C B Rai. Singh is scheduled to superannuate in July next.

J & K Government wants services of Raman

Jammu and Kashmir Government is keen to have services of Vijay Raman as Additional Director General of Police.Union Home Ministry has received a request to this effect from the J&K Government. Madhya Pradesh cadre 1975 batch IPS officer Vijay Raman is currently IG (Personnel) in BSF headquarters.

Singh and Gupta to return MP !

Two 1984 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS officers V K Singh and Maithili Sharan Gupta who are on deputation to the ITBP are expected to return to the parent cadre in a couple of months. In fact this batch has been promoted to the rank of IG in the state.
