Finance Secretary C M Vasudev is being tipped to be next Executive Director of the World Bank. 1966 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer Vasudev would replace B P Singh whose tenure is coming to an end in July.

Grapevine has it that Shashank Shekhar is joining the Chief Minister,s Secretariat in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister designate Mayawati has reportedly sounded Shekhar who is not an IAS officer to join her Secretariat on an important position.
